Flight to Gold Coast

The australian Miami

Ultra tousristy, ultra chic, the Gold Coast each year attracts as many Australian as overseas visitors.

The essential

Paradise for tourists

So much for the portrait of a town which could appear to have several contrasts in its daily life. And yet, if we go back hardly 80 years, Surfer was nothing. Just a stretch of sand, where some hard core settlers's descendants live in sparse small houses. Booking your ticket to Gold Coast means to enjoy at Surfer Paradise which had a meteoric rise during the 50s, as did the rest of the Gold Coast. This is a bit like landing in an immense amusement park for its shopping, roller coasters, multicoloured, chewing gum flavoured, ice creams and life guards, who are the local pride.
